While it is one thing to have the Gov’t bailout GM..it is entirely something different for the White House to put forth a legal strategy designed to keep the individual bondholders off balance and unable to have their FAIR day in court.
The consequences for the corporate debt market and faith in the U.S. financial markets (as well as individual property rights issues) go far beyond this one instance.
Take a listen to my interview with Washington Times Economic reporter Patrice Hill:

Global Security Expert (and Cruise For America speaker www.CruiseForAmerica.com) DR. WHALID PHARES writes that:
Today’s announcement of the foiled terror plot is a stark reminder that we are still under attack — eight years after the September 11 massacres. And if we are under attack, it means that we are still at war, a real one, not a “man-made disaster.”

For several weeks we have been calling on the SD County Board of Supervisors to do the right thing and select an interim Sheriff who is NOT a candidate for the position in the 2010 election.
In fact we have “literally” been calling, as we have placed phone messages “live on the air” to each supervisor inviting them to come on the show and explain their position…and our listening audience placed a flood of phone calls to their offices with the same message.
Today it is being reported that the Board of supervisors will indeed do the right thing and go through a selection process instead of just appointing Asst. Sheriff Bill Gore to serve the retiring Kolender’s remaining term.
Bravo for local talk radio…Bravo to our loyal audience…Bravo to the Board of supervisors..and .may the best candidate be selected June 23rd!
We would like to thank both Barry Jantz for bringing the situation to our attention initially and Anthony Porrello for providing us with ‘behind the scenes’ info.

My good friend Cindy Whitmarsh has organized the 1st Annual ‘Mike Whitmarsh Memorial Golf Tournament’ in memory of her loving husband.
Mike Whitmarsh of course is the former Silver Medalist in Olympic beach volleyball and 15 year veteran on the pro beach volleyball tour. Tragically Mike passed away recently at the age of 46.
The tournament is in San Clemente with a dinner to follow. Several Padres and Dodger players are expected to be present as well as Mike Dodd, Mike Whitmarsh’s former teammate.
Proceeds will go to help various causes in need.

Unlike the Stanley Kubrick film, the National Tea Party members need to accept O’s Town hall Invitation to meet with their EYES WIDE OPEN.
No politician, Democrat or Republican, ascends to the highest office in the land without the ability to accomplish their agenda by making audiences feel important and special about themselves…and… O has proven he is the master of them all.
On the surface it is understandably flattering to have the President recognize and extend a personal invitation to Tea Party members.
There is nothing in his background to indicate it is anything more than a calculated move to make himself look good at the expense of others…and in the process…providing MSNBC, NBC, CNN, etc. fodder for humor.
Nothing in politics happens by accident and especially at this level. (Except the flyover thru NYC earlier this week).
Enter with your EYES WIDE OPEN and understand you have been brought in for a public relations opportunity, to make the president look good. Otherwise why not meet privately at the White House? If I’m wrong, all the better. See below:
